The skin’s natural pH balance is restored by the addition of Camphor that has anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and anti-septic properties. Camphor is also known to combat excess sebum production. Another powerful antibacterial ingredient is Tea Tree oil that absorbs excess sebum and replaces it. This action reduces the appearance of blemishes and spots. In much the same way, Kaolin absorbs impurities and toxins that are present in the skin. It also stimulates the organic processes in the skin, and acts to replenish lost minerals.
